Pros

It has a very Stable Working Environment.

Cons

1.Low Basic Salary for Analyst like $12,000. 2.No salary increment except for promotion time. So, you can expect you still get <$30,000 even if you are promoted to VP after long working period. (Usually the max. increment would be 1x%). 3.Promotion need to wait for at least 2 years to join the "waiting list" for all new comers (NOT a must for promotion after 2-3 years). 4.No career prospect (Seniors don't care about your career path), Just tell you to take a look in long run. 5.Many tedious projects or ad-hoc works unrelated to your job duties to welcome the senior management/Chinese management (Chinese proposal/essays), if you are not the guy handling the projects, then your bonus is expected to be at normal standard. (Higher bonus would be granted to those handling ad-hoc projects). 6.Bonus payment can defer to like December in next year. You can expect to lose a year bonus when you leave, no matter how long you work in BOCI. 7.Seniors don't give a shxt on you and unfavorable working environment especially for juniors.

Pros

Friendly colleagues are the only thing keeping this place from being a total nightmare

Cons

Welcome to a company where the clock matters more than the work. You can sit around doing nothing all day as long as you clock in and out on time, but god forbid you arrive a few minutes late. While other companies embrace remote work and flexibility, this place is stuck in the stone age. Promotions and raises aren't earned here, they're handed out based on favoritism. If you're on the wrong side of management, expect endless work, the only reward you can get is more workload. Priorities here? Not the company, not efficiency -just whatever makes their department (or themselves) feel good
