Pros

Stable company, large organization, plenty of learning resources, internal mobility. Top executives seem to know what they are doing. The company has been doing good through the financial crisis compared to other investment banks.

Cons

Internal IT support is very inefficient, everything take a long time and nobody seem to care. A lot of beauracracy, have to open a HPSC ticket to get anything done across teams. Management is not doing a good job interms of vertical communication. A lot of integration pain is still going on even more than one year after the merge with Lehman Brothers. A lot of politics and cultural clash between the two sides, and they have lost quite some talents.

Pros

Can’t think of 1. Not even 1.

Cons

Pay is the lowest compared to similar company with the same role. Upper management speaks to staff with a patronizing tone; cutting them off, and talking down to them. At times it felt like they purposefully were attempting to find things wrong instead of working together as a team to meet objectives. Understaffed. Fully expected to do the work of a team of 6 despite being a team of 2 for example.
