Pros

A few of the things that sets Basware apart is its people and the positive work culture. I can say hand-on-heart that I love coming in to work everyday and that even after being in the company as long as I have, I find myself more motivated now than ever before: and this is no small feat. As an employee, I feel both valued and respected. There is genuine interest at all levels to support each other and do great things. I love the fact that management is very approachable - even more so in recent times. It's a safe and fun environment to work and grow, with a growing ESG/D&I platform which I'm very appreciative of. From a career point of view, I've found it easy to work in different areas of the business across the years, which has been great exposure that has enabled me to develop myself through the years. Importantly, now, there is a new energy in the business that you can't escape (nor do you want to) and it feels great to be a part of a change that puts creating value for its customers and its people first. We're finally waking up to the fact that we are number 1 in so many ways and its a great time to be a Baswarean.

Cons

Growing and changing fast can have its challenges, but for the most part, these are pros :)

Pros

They pay for all airfare with the Corp Credit card

Cons

Started an account expansion team in 2026, led by an inexperienced RVP with little to no management skills and a very tactical approach. Product enablement in Finland did not translate to what customers owned. 5 weeks before accounts were assigned. Another 2 weeks before comp plans were issued. ARR price points were a fraction of what was communicated during the interview process. No customer information available in SFDC. Needed to access multiple systems to find contracts and customer entitlements. The expense reporting system is almost unusable.
