Mediocre pay with very little advancement, minimal opportunity for raises or moving up. Culture quite toxic, very clique-ish. Near end of quarter, expect to work late as you get dragged into tasks which are not in your job description to make up for lack of labor resources in other areas, as they desperately try to meet deadlines that were otherwise being pushed off/ignored.
Any criticism of the company from employees on surveys, etc was met with punishments and harsher treatment to keep people in line so they wouldn’t actually speak up the next time, opportunities for employees to give feedback basically function as bait to weed out anyone who isn’t playing along with management that everything is totally great. Atmosphere was quite dour and stagnant, frequent turnover of employees at all levels resulted in a sense of constant chaos and little control over anything.
Tension and personal relationship feuds and grudges between more senior staff were palpable, was often quite an awkward and uncomfortable place to be. Management often made risky decisions and commitments in an attempt to secure business and sales, which would often backfire as they bit off more than they could chew and failed to meet targets - this was a frequently repeated phenomenon.
