Pros
Blockdaemon is a positive place to be, with a fantastic atmosphere and culture. Before BD, I was adamant I'd never take a permanent role again. Within 3 months of freelance work though, I'd agreed to move over full time. The general level of enthusiasm and intelligence is a pleasure to experience. I learn something new in every conversation, and people are equally interested in my perspective. Internally, BD is often described as a rocketship and I can't argue... I've never worked anywhere with such amazing acceleration. The growth and opportunities are staggering. It's a really great place to work
Cons
Blockdaemons are based all over the world. This presents a couple of minor problems... 1, Meetings have to fit into various timezones, so can be a little late in the day 2, You rarely meet your colleagues in real life To be fair, these are reflective of the decentralised nature of modern business, plus the impact of covid.
