I worked at BlueModus for a total of a month, and I was let go for “performance issues”. First and foremost, the hiring process took a month, so getting hired there took longer than I actually got to work. Secondly, nobody in your company should be let go within a month. I was not breaking any rules, I was told it because of availability issues but no proof was provided and I never missed a single meeting. I was given one meeting to talk about this “issue”with my manager, and then 1 week later I was let go. I was not allowed to defend myself in any way, or come up with a plan to fix it. After all of this, they had the audacity to email me saying they overpaid me and I need to Venmo them money back. I genuinely have never had such a terrible experience in the 10 years I have been in the field. In the brief time working there, I saw several people working until 2am multiple times a week. They truly want you to sacrifice and drink the kool-aid and bend over backwards for them, truly beware of this company. Also, they never told me this when I was hired on, but they have massive layoffs, but you won’t hear about that in the 20 meetings they schedule to tell you how great the company is. I’m pretty sure there are no bad reviews because they hold the severance over your head and make you sign a contract to not talk negatively about working there.
