Hiring the right person to join the BlueModus team is very important. Our colleagues are the heart and soul of BlueModus; they are the mechanism that makes our company run, and who our clients depend on as partners and trusted advisers.
We know the wrong hire will impact our culture, team morale, and our clients. Therefore, we take this process very seriously. We believe each colleague being hired brings something unique to BlueModus, and it is important to seek out those with the best qualities. Simply put, this means getting hired at BlueModus is not easy.
We want you to understand from the very beginning what to expect in our hiring process, so you can decide if you want to move forward. If you are expecting a simple interview and then hired…then BlueModus is likely not the right fit for you.

As you can see, we also believe in transparency. Obviously, not all candidates will make it through each stage of the process, as we will disqualify along the way as we look for the right person to join our team. However, we do commit to keeping you informed throughout the entire process.
Also, we want, and expect you, to interview us. It is critical that you are evaluating if the position is the right fit for you from the perspective of skill set, responsibility and career path. You should also evaluate whether BlueModus is the right fit for you when it comes to work culture and environment. We understand that agency life is not for everyone – we move fast, have high mutual accountability, and work hard. But you will not find a team that cares more than the colleagues at BlueModus.

- Surprise perks such as gift cards for hard work, off-site happy hours and dinners
- Relaxed dress code, dogs in the office, music in the background, so refreshing for an office setting

Advice to Management
None, this company is run exactly the way I would want to run my own company. They know how to take care of people and it shows in the healthy work culture they've created here.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at BlueModus (Denver, CO) in August 2012.
Pretty easy going and nothing overly technical or difficult. If you have a solid body of work and good examples I believe they tend to take your word for it. Obviously you'll need to prove that you're competent pretty quickly as they don't typically have people pairing to work on projects together.
