Pros
Great pto and benefits, great coworkers, the right supervisors are really good, union benefits and protections, you are helping people every day
Cons
Many supervisors not effective supervisors, only effective attorneys. lawyers run the place and support staff/non lawyer staff second tier. There are not enough chairs and desks and leaks/mold in the building but they make you all come in every day anyway. Oftentimes you are held accountable for things out of your control that are client choices (doing drugs etc) and when clients come in having a crisis you have to de-escalate even though we don't have the space or capacity to do that.
