Pros
I gained excellent experience as I was given the opportunity to implement programs and learn about the industry. The smaller size of the company made it possible for me to put on many hats and really see the impact my work made to the company. It was a friendly work environment with everyone focused on excellent customer service and delivering quality.
Cons
Given the flat hierarchy and smaller environment, there is a fair bit of responsibility on each person to be a "leader". I liked this responsibility, however, it is not for everyone, especially those who are used to larger environments with many layers and less accountability. Depends what you want in your career...perks or great experience.
