Pros

It is a very well established, globally recognized non-profit that is respected in the field of environmental reporting and sustainability. You will work with a team of people who are truly passionate about what they do. Dynamic, flexible environment with management that is capable of implementing changes to stay relevant and current.

Cons

Hours can, at times, be demanding, although not frequently. The pay is not great, but relatively competitive for non-profits. You need to be flexible in your role and be prepared for large scale changes that can happen relatively quickly.

Pros

Flexible WFH and Great Colleagues

Cons

If you've read the previous reviews, the are 100% accurate . CDP was recently acquired by a private equity firm and has two company-wide reorgs in the past few years, resulting in around 20% of colleagues to be laid off. Many of us have accepted lower salaries because we believed in the orgs mission and the positive impact of its work. Meanwhile, senior leadership continues to receive very substantial compensation packages, often exceeding $500K. With this recent sale, there is considerable uncertainty about what lies ahead. Many employees are concerned about further org changes, additional cost-cutting measures, and the possibility of future redundancies. While nobody can predict exactly what will happen, morale has been significantly affected by the level of uncertainty. Don't walk, RUN!
