It has been a rough year. We are a little over a year out from the acquisition of two agencies and the process to integrate has been slow and painful, all the while workloads continue to increase for many teams alongside highly ambitious financial and production goals. Add layoffs at the top of this calendar year and you have entire teams running on fumes, anxiety, and caffeine for months. Many folks are citing "growing pains" but that's usually followed by a nervous chuckle.
