Pros

If you like to slack off and not be held accountable, then this place is for you! Seriously, the company produces a niche product to a very selective market. They should be more than a very small company. Growth was declining, but their sales team pulled out of the slump this year. Hopefully the production side of the house will produce quality products this year! Quality is severely lacking.

Cons

Extremely nepotistic company. If you do not know someone there or are related to them then the likelihood of you being hired anyway is very slim. There is no growth potential within the company. There isn't a plan and the Management team is a joke. One of the senior leaders who is still there actually only showed up once a week for almost a year and I still don't think the company owners have figured this out yet!

The organization values quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement, and it shows in how teams collaborate and deliver. Leadership is accessible, transparent, and focused on building a workplace where people can grow and contribute. CIS is a solid place to build a career, make an impact, and be part of a team that takes pride in its work.

Pros

The company holds strong government contracts and collaborates with skilled teams. However, the disadvantages outweigh the benefits. While the organization presents a polished public image, there are underlying issues with workplace culture. Certain internal groups engage in exclusionary and deceptive behavior, expressing candid opinions privately while misrepresenting facts in broader discussions. I never quit a job in my life, yet this company lied and said I quit while I was actively working in the workday on Tuesday September 30th 2025.

Cons

I worked for this company approximately a week and a half ago. During onboarding I was asked to provide feedback intended to help improve their processes. Shortly after submitting constructive feedback I was accused of dishonesty and instructed not to communicate with headquarters personnel, individuals I have known professionally for over six years. After informing HR that I was uncomfortable working in an environment where providing honest feedback resulted in retaliation, I was terminated the following day. The company then falsified my termination records to indicate that I had resigned, damaging my professional reputation with other contracting organizations. Despite my efforts to contact HR the night before termination, no one responded. Only after I was terminated did they offer to meet, which I declined due to their prior conduct and misrepresentation of facts. Employees should be aware that account access is revoked immediately upon termination, preventing retrieval of emails or chats that may serve as evidence of internal communications. I recommend documenting all efforts to resolve workplace concerns before raising them. While the company emphasizes diversity in hiring, my experience suggests that speaking candidly or questioning internal practices can result in retaliation. I relocated from Florida to Orlando at their request to fill a critical contract role. During my tenure I completed required certifications, contributed to contract proposals, and dedicated substantial effort to supporting company goals. Despite being told I had done nothing wrong, my employment was abruptly ended without cause. This experience has caused significant personal and professional hardship.
