Overtime pay. travel, opportunities to develop different skillsets, minimal to no direct supervision, flexible schedule, company vehicle, some managers very available and helpful
Cons
way more travel than will be promised (up to weeks at a time), weekends away from home will be pushed. not enough time/resources for training, not enough advocacy for technicians against unreasonable expectations from clients, additional training and work responsibilities with no pay raise, bonuses are offered but seldom acquired due to variety of contracts/ unreasonable deadlines/ excessive and mismanaged travel, upper management is not trustworthy and will rely on plausible deniability, lack of project managers so management is disorganized and spread thin, very low retention rate
