Pros

This is an amazing company to work for. Management is fantastic. They are very knowledgeable and polite. Everyone is treated equally. The clients we manage are also wonderful. Yes sometimes you may have a bad apple here and there but one thing I can say is the pros outweigh the cons big time! The pay is better than almost 90% of other travel agencies. I feel like this by far has been the best job ever. You have time to work with your clients. There is never over 10 calls holding which is impressive. They give you an hour lunch along with paid breaks. Benefits are great and doesn't drain your paycheck. I also work from home and internet and phone is paid for... does not get any better

Cons

If you don't know how to be positive and polite this place is not for you. IF you don't know how to follow the policy on behalf of the company and the client you are out the door! I mean I Would nt blame them. In my opinion, to be the best company you have to have the best employees.

Pros

Solid salary and benefits, recognition and opportunity for growth across job function and/or upward. Cross-team interactions and collaborations are open and approachable.

Cons

Senior leadership over the last 10 years has eroded the culture and viability. Current mid-management leaders are relatively new to roles and lack mentoring, training or clarity of direction.

Pros

Working remotely, great working environment.

Cons

Navigating two separate layoffs both before and after an acquisition is challenging for anyone, especially when your future is unclear. Being laid off in 2024 rehired in 2025 and then released again after being assured my role was secure only added to that uncertainty. I fully understood the risks of returning to CWT during such a transitional period, but the experience highlighted how crucial clear communication and consistent leadership are during an acquisition. This was not about the work or the people both of which were positive but rather about how the transition from CWT to Amex GBT was managed. My hope is that sharing this helps future employees understand the environment and encourages stronger communication during periods of change.
