Pros
This corporation does offer a good salary and benefit package. Being treated as an equal with opportunities for advancement along with many perks, was possible thirty years ago and considered a great place to work. However today it is NOT worth staying with this company for the long term. They are more concerned with cutting jobs and creating havoc so employees are forced to leave early due to job stressors. For a government service there are too many feeling the effects of poor management.
Cons
Too many chiefs and not enough Indians to run this nation wide corporation. Many middle and upper management staff are very poor leaders and are inadequate for the positions they hold. They do go through the motions and lip service with corporate propaganda. Talking about concern for the employees, however, when they stand around the water cooler they do complain about their workers as much as the employees do about management. Their only interest is their goals and objectives to qualify for higher bonuses and will go to any extent to make others meet their targets. Including lying and cheating!
