Pros
I had the pleasure of working at Car Sense for almost 7 years. During my time with the company, I had the privilege to work under Kirk Schrader, VP of Personnel and Cultural Development. During my many years working under Kirk's leadership, I had to opportunity to grow into different positions throughout the company. Even though my job responsibilities changed over time, the one constant that directly influenced my personal grown in the company was the leadership of Kirk Schrader. Kirk is the only Supervisor I've ever worked for that was able to unlock my potential in a positive and uplifting manner. Kirk's leadership style is his greatest strength. His passion to be successful, his unwavering integrity, and his desire to see his team grow well beyond their potential is something I will always value. Car Sense is a company founded upon integrity and always doing what is in the best interest of the customer. I know there are many companies out there that preach this concept but never practice it. Car Sense is so much different. Not only do they treat their customers like they are the most important people in the world, but they also bend over backwards to ensure that the corporate culture is beneficial for each and every employee. I will always recommend Car Sense as an amazing place to work, even though my personal career ambitions brought me elsewhere. I will always be thankful for the experience I gained under Kirk's leadership and know that Car Sense will continue to grow because of their business model, core values, and excellent leadership.
Cons
A lot of the positions at Car Sense require people to work "non-traditional" hours. Because this is a retail environment, most shifts are not the typical 9am - 5pm. With that being said, the Management teams strive to accommodate each individual person.
