Pros
Decent pay. Good support staff (such as libraries and tech support. I can't think of anything else.
Cons
Terrible boss. "Dirty" ethical practices, and tolerated by higher management. Terrible support from administration in adhering to contractually agreed upon terms. Very slow movers. A lot of "jobsworth" practices in administrative functions. The administration - and most coworkers - "just don't care" about people.
