Pros

Hours and Flexibility. Get to meet lots of different people.

Cons

Cut salary in half after 2 months. Lead quality dropped substantially. They do very little to promote the application that is being sold. Some of the management staff attempt to use bullying tactics. They want professional sales reps, but do not want you to think for yourself or question any inconsistencies. They are not very open or forthcoming with the representatives.

We have increased our marketing tenfold since 2011. In addition to the marketing that took place then, we now have a third-party SEO strategist, participate in online and print marketing, CPI campaigns, and event sponsorships across the country. Usage of the website and mobile applications is much higher than it was when the product first launch in Orlando in January 2011. We strive to be open and honest with all of our advertising representatives and pay a commission rate well above industry average.

Pros

I've seen this organization grow so much over time and I loved every minute of my time here. The leaders are great, good work life balance, and the work is a lot of fun!

Cons

Benefits could be better, specifically 401-K.

Pros

I love that the organization is doing something good for the gay community. For the most part, there is a great work - life balance and the senior management really takes good care of the staff. Don't get me wrong...they expect a lot...but they give a lot back in return. I've never worked for a company that brings in breakfast and snacks for the team. Also, my bonus has consistently doubled over the last couple of years. It's nice to see a growing company that gives back to the people that help it grow and aren't just greedy. Also, since we've been growing there have been several opportunities for advancement. I love that they always post open positions to current staff first before looking outside of the company. They also truly believe in the products they produce, so that's cool.

Cons

Sometimes emotions run high. Especially with the rate of growth the company is experiencing, there is a lot of pressure to perform constantly...but honestly, what job doesn't have that? When performance is low, senior management can get frustrated with middle management who then get frustrated with employees. But frankly, if everyone was performing, there would be no frustration...so while it's a con for me, I understand where the higher ups are coming from.
