Poor management, ill-intended individuals and back stabbers are prevalent at the management level and nobody seems to care about the prevailing toxic work environment that this generates. The few qualified and professional ones that have rose through the ranks in the past simply can't stand such a contaminated atmosphere, which comes directly from the top. This translates into very adverse and unjust situations for employees who find real enemies in their vindictive managers. No freedom to express dissenting viewpoints without retaliation.
