Pros

Easy work and they give you good hours.

Cons

People talk to you in Spanish even if you speak none. Employees aren't treated with respect. I just started, and I have to ask for days off 2 weeks in advance minimum. They won't let you go home if it's an emergency. The lunch break is 1 hour, which you don't get paid for, and you have no say in when you want it. Might not have the ability to eat for hours.

Pros

Good company for people who want to grow, learn the business, and take on responsibility. Citarella values employee loyalty, and many employees have been with the company for a long time, which creates stability and a strong base of internal knowledge.

Cons

As a legacy company, some processes and systems feel old-school. The technology stack is behind what you might find in more modern organizations, and some workflows are still manual or outdated. There is a lot of opportunity for improvement and modernization, but change can move slowly.
