Pros

Cool office, Competitive Salary, Snacks, Offsites Thats it

Cons

I am not sure why they have HR if they don't plan on actually doing anything when complaints come in. They allow an incredibly snakey environment and promote people into leadership who have a handful of complaints. There are many "managers" that have been promoted through favoritism and other items not worth discussing (sketchy). Many situations could've been prevented and created a safer work environment if the would've taken action when initially hearing about problems. You couldn't pay me enough to go back and work in the toxic environment they've created. They promote their "values and missions" however don't actually map to one single value on the wall. CEO? Non-existent. Could care less about his employees and hasn't updated the "direction" of the product/company in years. Just don't work here. You'll be looking for a new job almost immediately. Listen to the reviews, ask around who has been there longer than a year or two. The turn over is insane.

Pros

Competitive compensation, great benefits including extras like gym stipend, bottomless snacks - we take these for granted in the tech sector and Cloudability has all of them. Where I think they stand out: - A true startup, which is great if that's your cup of tea. They are growing fast! - Very engaged with the community, they sponsor many groups and host many meetups. - Small enough that the executives know your name and large enough to have good revenue and specialists in all of the leadership positions. - Great technology niche - the cloud is the place to be. But most of all the culture and people value a rare combination of fun and professionalism. They hire people for their life experience and values as much as for their competencies.

Cons

Startups are volatile, and Cloudability has a lot of turnover. They are not afraid to take risks and when they don't work out they may have to get out of a location or let a group of people go.

Pros

I've been a software engineer for more than 10 years, at a variety of different startups, and Cloudability is one of the best places I've ever worked. The management is humane and compassionate, and the leadership team truly cares about being a good citizen of the world, and of our local community. We regularly take opportunities to volunteer together for local charitable causes, and we're all working hard to be equitable and inclusive in our hiring practices and in our career ladder. It's an ongoing project, and of course it's not perfect yet, but I've never seen another company make a more sincere effort at self-awareness than this. We also have a remarkable technical team, with exceptional engineering skills. Creative ideas are always welcomed from folks throughout the organization. The work is challenging and satisfying, and learned a lot as an engineer from my peers here. And yet, beyond my regular on-call rotations or the occasional emergency, I've never been asked to work crazy hours or meet unrealistic deadlines. Salary and benefits are great, and the office culture is casual and friendly, while still being focused and rigorous.

Cons

Like any rapidly-growing company with a complex technical product, it can be difficult for new folks to feel productive and fully-integrated into the team, but I don't feel like the problem is out of control... We're actively working on improving our onboarding and mentorship, and I can see improvements on the horizon.
