Coastal Ridge Real Estate

Engaged Employer

The WORST company that boast quality and inclusion as a facade on how horrible and mismanaged they are. - Property Manager Coastal Ridge Real Estate Employee Review

Pros

Work life balance, only because the RM had one too

Cons

Long days, limited time off, low pay, small bonus structure, pointless medical benefits, hiring to fill the seat and not hiring qualified people. Facade of caring for the employee. Remember HR and upper management are not and will never be there for you in the end. If it's your turn to get thrown under the bus they will make sure you get thrown hard. They throw on a good mask but in the end too many meetings and calls and one on ones and not enough working for the on site staff and residents. Big focus on property reviews when the managements own reviews really could use major improvement. Major focus on growth and zero focus on quality employees. Also the big one is never any on site support when previous residents are yelling at you and cussing you out for erroneous move out charges that we had to charge to make budget.

Pros

Strong asset in a desirable area with high demand and qualified applicants; units were easy to lease with proper presentation. Consistent maintenance standards and timely unit readiness supported leasing efforts. High occupancy performance. Small team environment, user-friendly software, and reliable cleaning support allowed focus on leasing. Compensation included hourly pay plus commissions and bonuses. Predictable schedule with weekends closed. I enjoyed my time there overall and would recommend the company.

Cons

Limited responsiveness to onsite pricing feedback; pricing set externally. Follow-up expectations felt excessive relative to conversion value. Hourly pay in the low $20s did not align with workload and cost of living; minimal raise growth. Bi-weekly pay structure and benefit costs were challenging at that pay level. Redundant administrative tasks (manual package notifications, physical files despite digital systems). Inconsistent communication and management transitions impacted workflow.
