Pros

Great place to build your potenial and learn as an Engineer in design in many different types of buildings.

Cons

As per the title, low pay well below the established industry standards and they pile in the projects way beyond what's reasonable.

Pros

Great people that you're in the trenches with. Working with smart, driven individuals who are constantly looking to learn and grow. Benefits were pretty good, and the office is gorgeous. The work is really interesting. I can't believe I got to work on some of the projects I did. This was a place where you could move up really quickly if you were willing to ask and do the work.

Cons

Salary is a little low. It's supposedly on par with market, but I think it depends which department you were in. The leadership is a really mixed bag, and not in the good way. There are some Managing and Senior Partners are really amazing people, but a unfortunately a few rotten apples can spoil the bunch. Sometimes it feels like it's all a really big ego contest.

Pros

Open communication Good benefits Supportive environment Knowledgeable people Staff care about each other Half day Fridays Access to a variety of projects and opportunity for quick advancement Opportunity to speak up about anything

Cons

Poor management of projects leads to overwork Avoidance of responsibility by Partners and Team Leaders Lack of caring at the Partner level - treat staff like they are disposable Constantly told to 'take responsbility' for things that we cannot impact on, or that don't go the way the partners wants (top-down blaming)
