Pros
Prior to being sold to a private equity group, it had a strong late-startup culture that prided itself on quality of services and technical engineering. Everyone in the company wanted to be there and was more than capable at their jobs.
Cons
Post buy-out things changed quite quickly. There were layoffs and lots of people who quit in the first few months. We lost a lot of people who'd been with the company 5+ years. Everyone lost their stock options in the sale. We began making budget cuts and chasing EBITDA and never really found our focus.
