Pros

Only thing that made the job bearable were the amazing co workers on the employee level. I made life long friends here even though the majority of them have moved into better things. Only other perk is sometimes you’ll get to go to shows and you can gain quite a lot of knowledge to take with you if you’re able to stick it out for a while. There is health care, but you definitely won’t be able to afford it. They pay half but it’s like $500-600 before the pay that. You’ll be making about $40-$45k so not really affordable at all. There’s only one plan. There is PTO but it’s nickel and dimed as others have said. There’s a week off between Christmas and new year, but everyone in the industry gets that. No ones working over the holidays. It’s unfortunately tough to think of more pros which sucks because everyone comes here with rose colored glasses on and it could be great

Cons

I genuinely hope this page helps others make an informed decision before they sign an employment contract here. Where to start.. not much to say that others haven’t already said. first one being the issue that the COO is married to the CEO. Creates huge lack of accountability and they treat their employees like children. No really - there’s a chores list (like mopping and deep cleaning bathrooms) and you’re not getting out of it. COO will “check it” after you’re done. Nothing against professional cleaners but we didn’t get hired for that, they expect a professional clean, and it’s not disclosed that it’s part of your job until after you’ve signed that NDA / non compete. There’s just something so demeaning about your boss sending an email to everyone when they’re at home, that you missed a spot on the floor or you didn’t clean the bathroom or kitchen good enough. Should be run like a professional office, not a restaurant. Hire cleaners if you want it done like you’ve hired them. Absolutely ridiculous. Terrible pay for workload. Not enough PTO days. Prepare to be gaslit. They’ll act like they care, but wait until you’re actually in need and watch how quickly your perception of them changes.. literally made an someone handle a client call on her off day after she totaled her car. Also the superrrt strict time policy is the WORST. Didn’t used to be so bad but then they started calling us out as a group in meetings and scathing emails (sent on a Friday evening so you have anxiety all weekend) if we even left 5 minutes early on a Friday. This is a very small company of less than 20 people and there’s a revolving door of employees. Wish I could say more but there’s a lot of …questionable things going on here.

Pros

You'll find in almost every Glassdoor review that the co-workers were wonderful, and I fully agree. We created our own culture when there was none, other than the owners buying us pizza once in a blue moon.

Cons

The CEO is married to the COO/GM/Accountant which created a plethora of problems for the employees. The benefits are below average -- expensive health insurance and 11 days PTO that does not accrue. Not to mention you can't even use your PTO until AFTER a certain month of the year and you have no sick days, so be prepared to take days without pay! You may be able to work from home on some cases but don't always count on it because the bosses expect you to be in the office everyday even though they get to work from home. This year alone they have lost 9 employees, and their average turnover is 1-2 years. With how short staffed we were, everyone had to wear multiple hats and were not properly compensated for it. This caused major burnout amongst everyone yet we'd be scolded and almost blamed that the CEO and COO are constantly working at all hours and they cover for us too much. Hm. I would not recommend working here, this may seem like a cool non-corporate environment to work at, but honestly you're better off working a corporate job that has WAY better benefits, better leadership, and management who aren't married to each other.
