Pros

Access to leadership across Dallas-county, fun/collegial colleagues, have option to keep/buy-out work laptop, access to senior staff (based on open office space), frequent happy hours and employee engagement opportunities, and more.

Cons

Org is currently in transition and working to figure out talent development structure, big egos among senior staff (Senior Directors and above), program units don't work across each other as much as they could/should, difficult culture to navigate for junior staff. If you're interviewing with Commit, make sure you really get to know the team you'll be working on, and be sure to ask other about the working style of both your potential manager and senior lead of your unit.

Industry-leading benefits in the nonprofit space. Demonstrable record of meaningful student impact on the stage and local level.

Cons

Inconsistent company culture, often dependent on which department you are in.

Pros

Benefits are good and there is flexibility.

Cons

Culture, nepotism, no work life balance, turnover is crazy, no growth depending on what team you're on and especially if you're a person of color.
