Pros
On the right team, you will be mentored and stood up for, and you will have an amazing time at Nisum.
Cons
On the wrong team, one of two things will happen. First, you could be thrown into way too much work, and be expected to collaborate at all hours of the day and night with local, national, and global teams. Sometimes you will have to run meetings at 10pm, 3+ times per week while you still have to perform the normal 9-5.
The other option is that you will be put on a forgotten team somewhere, and no matter how much you ask for more work or more mentorship, you will just be left to waste away. This is especially common for internal initiatives, when the ‘team lead’ has client responsibilities and flat out ignores the internal initiative they’ve been assigned to.
