Ensuring everyone has the opportunity to develop and achieve their aspirations is extremely important to us. We’re proud to provide all our IRISians with fully-funded training and qualifications, access to over 8,000 pieces of e-learning content through our LMS, trainer-led content via our Elevate personal growth pathway, and other internal initiatives such as our High Potential Programme, which support the future leaders of IRIS develop core interpersonal skills. We also encourage our colleagues to get involved with our IRIS Mentors programme, which encourage senior leaders to share knowledge and expertise to support a colleague’s progression and development, which helps our employees to achieve the skills to excel in their work and realise their professional goals.
We’re also delighted to invest in our managers through our dedicated leadership pathways. We offer 5 pathways designed for each level of experience and seniority, starting with those aspiring to be managers all the way up to our senior leaders, to ensure every manager has the skills needed to motivate, develop and inspire their teams. We’re delighted that through Peakon, our employee voice platform, our Sales team have scored us 8.7 out of 10 on Caring Management Support and 8.0 on Growth.
We’re also passionate about paying our employees fairly and competitively to reward their dedication and hard work. As well as being a Real Living Wage Employer, meaning we commit to pay a fair wage to cover at least the real cost of living in the UK, we’re pleased to run a companywide annual salary review process each autumn, which includes external benchmarking data to ensure we’re paying the market rate. For our junior salespeople, we’re also delighted to operate a pay scale so that they can grow their salaries as they reach key skill milestones and grow their career with us. We also offer a comprehensive commission scheme that supports employees through monthly payments, set monthly and quarterly quotas, and the chance to earn up to 200% of commission when they achieve their target. We further offer a range of other incentives throughout the year to reward consistent achievement, such as running a recognition award for our highest performing salespeople each quarter with fantastic prizes, as well as inviting our Elite Club on luxury trips.
We’re also proud to reward and recognise our employees for going above and beyond in a variety of ways, through our quarterly IMPACT Awards with prizes up to £200, and our annual Top Talent Award which gifts a range of prizes from £250 vouchers, an additional day off, and branded goodies. In addition, we encourage our employees to get involved with our quarterly Made In IRIS CEO Award, whereby applicants can present their new entrepreneurial idea to our Executive team and have the chance to win up to £50,000 to #MakeItHappen.
