Relatively small but on eof the top UK universities Some departments and reserach teams are truely world leading great facilities especially in parts of biomedical sciences part of biomed research work very closely with medical doctors and consultants as they are based in the same campus
Cons
cons depend on what you want from an employer and from a job/career. personal experience: Exeter is a cute but small city which is quite off centre. another thing (that is improving but needs more work) is the diversity, Exeter university has the potential to do better in terms of staff diversity in some schools and departments.
