Exciting area of the law. Lots of autonomy because no oversight. The recruiter was really wonderful and fun.
Cons
Went through 5 employees in 2 months. Everyone quit on my third week. There were no employees remaining in the office when I left. Management is out of state and meets with you once a week for 15 minutes. Do not expect any guidance or leadership beyond that. They have hardly any clients. I think there were less than 10 when I left. They have poor technology, barely any research options, no support staff whatsoever, shabby office. They were misleading in my interview and stated there would be training - there is only training for how to retain. Nothing on how to practice. Ask them to see their office. Ask them about the number of clients vs. expectations to bonus. It is impossible to bonus with no clients!
