      Pros

      I had a great supervisor - and post Master's it definitely provided tons of experience and ability to consult with other therapists as well as weekly with a psychologist and occasionally with the psychiatrists.

      Cons

      40 clients per week, unreasonable amounts of paperwork, I always felt like was drowning and that paperwork took priority over the clinical work with clients. Very low pay, but a matching 401k and good insurance.

      → Meaningful work with crisis patients → Decent pay and benefits on paper → Some wonderful frontline coworkers

      Cons

      → Toxic clique culture among certain leads and supervisors that HR refuses to address → Experienced nurses with clean records are suddenly targeted with anonymous complaints and unfair investigations → Extremely high turnover (90%+ in some teams) speaks for itself → Management plays favorites; if you’re not in the inner circle, you’re eventually pushed out
