Pros

training is pretty good for building confidence the people are very friendly, maybe overly-friendly

Cons

The management is extremely vague about the job, YOU WILL BE SELLING GAS AND ELECTRIC ON THE STREET. bothering people all day is extremely degrading. EXTREME working hours- sometimes 12 hours a day, 6 days a week. NO ONE- especially not self employed should be made to work that long. you will have literally no social life. i feel sorry for the people working here who have made complete one their entire life THERE IS NO PAY RATE. This is not obvious while interviewing or training, as they tell you what you can expect to receive but actually its all commission based and for working 12 hours a day its often less than minimum wage. your management will take most of the comission training is unpaid so please be aware of that. You will be expected to travel all around the north east, covering your own transport costs. if you own a car you will be expected to ferry others as well!

Pros

Have learnt so much here. I didn't really have much experience within business when I started so am pleased that I've had the opportunity to learn more about sales. Plus you get to be outside all day which I much prefer than sitting behind a desk! It's also built my confidence, talking to people everyday has made me more confident.

Cons

The hours can be long and tiring, but you get out of it what you put it!
