Pros
Decent compensation package in Corp Dev space, near top of the market for top performers in Tech/Software. Very entrepreneurial “you eat what you kill” environment, competitive but collaborative. Great appetite for doing deals across the board, interesting and niche work. Great level of autonomy, and internal growth trajectory. Fantastic WLB.
Cons
Challenging M&A environment for buy-and-hold model. There are deals to be done but you got to roll up your sleeves to get there. Outdated IT systems and infrastructure.
