Terrible Culture & Management - Project Manager Construction Innovations Employee Review

Pros

The people are amazing, the only thing that made going into work each day worth it was the people I met. Built many a great relationship here that I will continue to keep. Options for continued education, options to take WECA classes as well as OSHA. But many hoops had to be jumped through first. With privilege given only to the few who could navigate politically.

Cons

The overall culture of the company. We had a large influx of growth with no apparent plan from management. This quickly lead to burnout and a toxic culture. People were voicing their concerns and trying to fix it but management didn't listen. In the last 5months 20 people personally know to me have left. That doesn't include departments I am not part of. Overall they do not value the hard work people put in then expect more on top of it. The pay was also horrific, when questioned on why we are paid the way we are they said it was due to a "Third Party Companies Assessment". We couldn't see this assessment and it didn't seem to be based on individual merits but rather industry standard. I wouldn't recommend anyone work here.

Pros

Team welcomed me with open arms. Everyone was extremely helpful and treated me like I had worked there for years. Coming from the tech industry into Construction Innovations was a page turner but I loved the challenge of learning something new. My boss was extremely professional and made sure I was well informed on each project.

Cons

Due to personal needs, I was not able to work at CI for that long. I can't say I have any issues or concerns.

Pros

Great office. Impressive indoor construction site.

Cons

Competitors caught and passed. Reactive strategies. Minimal investment in innovation. Five stars for the wrong kind of diversity and inclusion.
