Smart junior developers but poor management and politics - Anonymous employee Contentstack Employee Review

- Internal politics specially in the Virar office. - Management is clueless. 2 layoffs in the last 6 moths, no hikes and no merit increase (promotion cycle). - When they initially laid off people in Aug/Sep, it was said to make sure that the company is on the correct path for 2026 but when 2026 came annual hikes & promotion cycle was cancelled. - Again point was made that hikes were not given to save people's jobs in 2026 but the worst part is 2 months later, they laid off 7% of their employees and layoffs were not done on performance basis but based on who is close to whom and how people are related. - Almost the entire senior engineering leadership in Virar office is based on nepotism and not skillset. Most of them wouldn't even crack 1 round of interview outside.
