Pros

Corero has taken the time to make sure that its real-time DDoS mitigation product really works. Much investment has gone in to both Engineering and the Security Operations Center. All of the customers seem to be very happy. I am new to Corero but I have been made to feel very welcome. This is a place that is high on ambition where talented, determined professionals can really make a positive difference.

Cons

With the shift from being hardware-centric to software-centric, the company has undergone a major transformation. Inevitably, the essential technical skills have also needed to change which has resulted in higher than normal staff turnover. Much of the sales team works from remote locations (often home-based). This makes it difficult to feel part of the Corero team albeit our regular calls and periodic team meetings do help.

Pros

I truly love most of the people I work with. There is a lot of knowledge on the Sales Engineer side. There are people who legitimately believe in the mission - they’re just not in charge.

Cons

I've had to edit this review 6 times to meet Glassdoor's requirements. Cons are a CEO who cares more about juicing the stock price than anything else, a CMO who just wants to play with AI and hire women with dark hair, and HR that doesn't follow up on complaints to the point that employees are afraid to communicate about one specific employee on Slack and only text on personal devices. Cisco might be able to employ so much dead weight to keep a C-Level happy, but Cisco also has a digit other than 0 before the decimal in its stock price.
