Pros

Groups directives are great. Site persons are excellent. HR are very supportive

I thought long and hard about writing this review but after leaving countryside in February and now working in the same role for another builder I have realised I need to speak up or they will not learn anything. No support from toxic upper management, THEY DO NOT LISTEN. Poor quality Build and the customer gets let down time and time again, Say one thing but means another. Unhappy Staff and huge turnover of staff, not investing in the staff they have. No promotion unless you are in the right group, promoting the wrong people because they are in the Right group. Do not understand Mental health and push staff to breaking point. Archaic approaches. We had 3 MD’s and 2 construction directors in the 2 years I worked here and apart from the first MD no one got to know me and what I do, processes ignored and a throw money at it attitude was then adopted., buying surveys is not what I will ever do. Beware this company or at least a couple of the regions .

Equally you've noted our smart working and culture as being positives to working at Countryside. We are working very hard on creating a positive employee experience for all. You've mentioned underpaid and we do regularly review our salaries with external benchmarking to enable us to be competitive and we review our Total Reward packages as salary is one part of that reward. I note that you are a current employee and have mentioned bottle heavy management and high workload, so I would encourage you to contact your People Partner or Head of People to share any further feedback on these so we can understand and review where appropriate. Pros

Good people. Good teamwork if your in the click. Okay benefits, sick and vacation time.

Cons

Low pay, no communication with higher up. No work life balance. Busy and sometimes disorganized.
