Pros
Hybrid and full remote work is the new normal (Especially considering the traffic situation in Lagos). Therefore, it isn't a pros.
Cons
- Never pleasing performance to the Management even when you're obviously constrained, and working your all. - Bold favoritism to the Engineering Teams from the Management. Yes, Japa syndrome may have caused it. That notwithstanding, it can be managed better. - Entry personnel and New Joiners will find it hard to settle in. Some elements overprotect their positions. They hoard knowledge; feel threatened. - Deliberate creation of factions. "Us" vs "Them" within an organization. - Due to the above points, overtime, if you're not guarded, your professional confidence will become weak. This is a statement from one of the former employees.
