Pros
I worked for many years at CPS. In the early years (2010 onward) I could not have been more positive. Security means if your role is office-based, it can genuinely be a 9 to 5 job.

Austerity kicked-in and management lost touch with any reality: Work piled-up with no chance of getting any of it done Constantly behind and missing deadlines Blame culture Near zero-career progression Heavy emphasis on getting work done over any kind of quality If you are a court advocate, forget quality of life - you won't have one
