Pros

I have been working full time at CrystalCommerce for five years, and I've learned a lot of things that helped my career expand and scale. CrystalCommerce is very flexible when it comes to your schedule. The leadership is very open to any ideas you have in mind. The culture (I can say) is different from other companies in a way that you can enjoy- especially if you are a gamer yourself. CrystalCommerce over the years- (if I would describe based on my experience) is a battlefield that you will entirely get gems of learning experiences that you can apply to any aspect of your life, professionally and personally. I work closely with the clients so I would hear different kind stories of small business owners- their pain points, their successes, their business problems, etc. The benefits that they offer are fare, the location is perfect (close to Seattle), the culture matches my personality, and the people that I work with legitimately cares for the teammates and the clients. There are people here that I hang out with outside of work hours, and we continue to be friends! I would give 6 STARS on Work/Life balance if Glassdoor would let me!

Cons

Small company with big company goals Limited pool of resources

Pros

My experience thus far at CrystalCommerce has been quite rewarding. I've found that if you work hard and show initiative, the company will reward you and invest in your future. The atmosphere is not like your typical office job, so if you are used to a more strict and structured environment this may not be for you. The company is quite young and the coworkers are all very pleasant to be around. Everybody seems to get along well and things like company lunches, game nights and Holiday parties help foster the positive relationships with each other. The pay at the company is fair and the benefits are getting better all the time. There is a lot of work to do still, but Dan has never had any issue investing in employees, whether it be buying lunches, cool gadgets, gifts during the Holidays, or gift cards. All in all, for somebody just starting their career this is a great opportunity to learn some new skills and help out small businesses in the game and hobby industry.

Cons

There is some disorganization within the company and a lot of work needs to be done to add structure and discipline. This isn't abnormal for a company so young. There needs to be more focus. Lots of things going on at once and it can lead to some getting a little disorganized and frustrated.
