Thank you for sharing your experience working at DIA. We are always looking for ways to be better for our people, who are at the core of delivering on our mission of making patients better faster. Our talented team is also the reason why our work is so enjoyable, and it sounds like that was true for you too. DIA, like many other non-profit organizations, is resource constrained and simultaneously ambitious. Our Board and Leadership team set clear goals each year that cascade through all levels. We hope that these goals provide the framework for how to prioritize resources to achieve our short and long-term organizational strategy. We understand that may not always be the case or interpreted the same way by everyone. Over the last few years, we have created centers of excellence to share best practices and explore ways for us to work smarter.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts about working at DIA. We are happy to hear that you enjoy working with your colleagues and our work flexibility. Being flexible has been even more important over the last year while we have all been forced to work in different ways. We care a lot about the people at DIA and building a “great place to work” culture which is measured as part of our annual plan. This starts with recruiting the right people who align to our mission and values. Sometimes we don’t get this right and that can unfortunately lead to employee turnover. Whenever there is a vacancy, we don’t jump to recruiting right away. We see it as an opportunity to reevaluate the position, team structure, and whether anyone internally is ready for a new challenge and promotional opportunity. We can be better at communicating this to you and others who are impacted so you can better plan and manage your workload in the interim. This is valuable feedback, and we appreciate you sharing.
