- Severe lack of written policies or procedures (you will be left on your own to figure it out)
- Overbearing, overcritical and micromanaging superiors who make your job ten times more difficult than it needs to be, who refuse to take accountability of their own actions and the culture that results
- Said management spoke to me in a way that was highly inappropriate (I was basically talked down too like a child)
- Lack of communication on expectations (you will find out after the fact, and even though nobody told you and no written policy outlined anything, they won’t be happy)
- Lack of proper benefits such as sick leave due to contractor basis (expanded due to response): I was given 14 days AL per year with 10 paid public holidays. Paid sick leave could be taken from said AL days, but when only 14 of your yearly annual leave days aren’t locked to a public holiday, it becomes akward
- Constant tension due to managements attitude and conduct
