Pros

Great pay for a first job. People are friendly. They give you a phone and a laptop.

Cons

Terrible management and very cliquy. I was "laid off" without any warning. The company was healthy and did not let anyone else go. I just signed a 12 month lease and check with my management before I signed. They told me, "you're not going anywhere." So, I figured my employment was secure. I got a bonus and then a month later I was let go without any notice and when I asked why they said, "we decided that you are not a good fit."

Felt like a small family business that's done some big numbers in the bay area. Leadership focused on development over immediate results. One of the best places to work.

Pros

Dasher is a great place to work and grow your skillset as an engineer. They are very focused on best of breed technologies and encourage engineers to continually develop their skillset and pursue their interests (servers/storage/cloud/networking/security). They provide ample opportunities for attending training and the team is top notch and great to work with. Management encourages feedback and acts on it, very collaborative company culture. Most engineers will have both pre-sales (client meetings/solution building) and post-sales (implementation/configuration/deployment) tasks, good balance of different responsibilities. Work life balance is excellent, family focused culture and flexible vacation. The yearly events are great and there are many other small perks as well. Overall great place to work with ample opportunities to expand your skillset.

Cons

Compensation is competitive and yearly increases do happen if you perform well, but the quarterly bonus structure heavily depends on how well the company as a whole does that quarter and can very greatly from quarter to quarter.
