Pros

I love the fact that Datix literally lives there core values. Every employee fully understands these values and can articulate them. Having the right person in the right seat and also fits the culture allows us all to row in the same direction Datix is strong on its directive for each employee to set quarterly professional growth goals, some of which may be in a team framework. Setting professional goals allows employees to contribute at extremely high levels and gain a great personal satisfaction in getting better at their job every single day.

Cons

In that I work remotely, it would be nice to be introduced to new hires in other functional areas early on in their on-boarding process. This is a challenge specific to the pandemic and imagine a new SOP will come out soon addressing this.

Pros

If you're just finishing up college, this is a great company to work for and get your feet wet. And if you don't understand IT, you will after working here only a few weeks! People who work here are highly intelligent, yet remarkably collaborative. Even though each person is designated a "role," everyone is very transparent about their work, which gives newbies (especially marketing peeps) the chance to understand how all the business pieces come together in the end. I came to Datix near the end of college as an intern, and within six months moved to full time. It took a lot of work to get here, but I know ten folds more about the business world than I learned in college.

Cons

Understanding Datix process can be intuitive at times if you're new to IT. Also, the company collaborates on a lot of things, so being open to try new approaches and work with others is mandatory of whichever role you take. Clearly this isn't a real con, but it does take a motivated and curious person to really succeed here.
