5 months are enough for a burnout - Graphic Designer DigitalUp Employee Review

Pros

I was always paid on time.

Cons

Working as a graphic designer, I never received a positive feedback for my work. They don't praise your work, and they constantly show you that what you are doing is not enough. The company is very unorganised, and the team leaders are inexperienced. People and management were constantly gossiping negatively about other employees, and because the office is an open-space, we can hear everything, (even hear things about myself). I was asking them for more than 7 months to upgrade my computer, as it was very slow for the type of programs that I was using it for. The company doesn't care about upgrading the equipment, and on top of that, they don't pay the licenses of the software we were using as designers, which says a lot about the culture of the company. After I announced my decision to resign, the management didn't want me to say goodbye to my fellow co-workers. While I was there, usually every month a person was either fired or resigned.

Pros

At first, the company seemed serious and promising.

Cons

Toxic behavior from company owner toward new employees, especially when you did something well, there was a sense of competitiveness instead of appreciation. Disrespectful and unprofessional conversations behind closed doors. Micromanagement.

Pros

The company has a friendly and collaborative team with great communication, making everyday work enjoyable and productive. There are always exciting projects that help you develop new skills and grow professionally. The boss is approachable, supportive, and always willing to help when needed, creating a sense of trust and reliability. Frequent team parties and events add to the fun and engaging atmosphere, making the workplace feel lively and connected. Constructive feedback and a genuine interest in employee growth ensure continuous development, while the healthy work-life balance and positive company culture make this a truly great place to work.

Cons

Nothing major so far. Just the normal challenges when projects move fast.
