      Pros

      Remote work and some very good people are still there. Pay is decent and unlimited PTO is a plus until you get laid off.

      Cons

      New President and CTO are just horrible to work for. The company went from the collaborative amazing culture to one of micro management overnight. Initiative is now met with scolding and eventual termination. Employees that built the company and know it's customers needs are completely ignored and given no input on the future product. While friends (who all fit a very specific profile) are put in charge on day 1. CEO seems nice, tells you how valuable you are to the company, promises raises, and gives stock options to retain employees, then lays them off 4 months later, This happened to a group of older, tenured employees.

      Pros

      I have been a senior leader at the company for over a year, and my experience has been phenomenal. The company is growing, we are super busy working on fun projects, the Fintech space is booming, and we have a great team. The company has a lot of fantastic people; management is experienced, available, and committed. We have brands like Walmart, Home Depot, and Lockheed Martin, and many other amazing logos who love our products and services. I am grateful that we have a healthy business that has continued to grow even during a pandemic. Our success says a lot about the company's leadership, the product offering, our customers, and the relationships built over the years. It is an exciting time to be at Direct Commerce. We have a lot of new challenges, and we are lining up the right people and products to drive the company forward --- and we're having some fun as a team as we do it!

      Cons

      Nothing really from my perspective. However, we are moving quickly, and sometimes you may have to forge your path, which is not for everyone.
