Pros

Working at Disciple has been a brilliant experience and one of constant growth. Starting of as an intern, straight out of University, it felt amazing to be given an opportunity from such an interesting company. While at university we was warned of the way interns are treated and used throughout industries for cheap work with no real chance of full time opportunities or growth at the end. This was the complete opposite, a company that took me on and wanted to see me grow and build as much experience as possible until they offered me the opportunity to become a full timer member of the team. From intern to Marketing Assistant to now Junior Production manager, by growth has not stopped and that is all down to Disciple believing in me from the start.

Cons

Current Camden location can be a pain due to high influx of tourists into the area meaning train lines and area can get extremely busy.

Pros

Working at Disciple was one of the most positive experiences of my career. The culture was genuinely supportive—leadership trusted us to deliver without micromanaging, which gave me the autonomy to really own my results. There was a strong sense of collaboration across departments, especially between Sales and CS, which made it feel like everyone was moving toward the same goal. I felt excited to go to work every day, not just because I loved what I was doing, but because I got to work alongside an incredible team. The COO/CFO was hands-on in the best way (shoutout to Frankie, he is literally the best), and the founder was fascinating to speak with—someone who truly cared about the product and the people. It was a place where your voice was heard, and where you were treated like a human being, not just a number. I would absolutely recommend this place.

Cons

One of the biggest challenges was the disconnect between what was promised and what was actually available. At times, we were encouraged to commit to features or capabilities that didn’t yet exist, which created tension across teams—particularly for Product and CS, who then had to scramble to deliver on expectations that shouldn’t have been set in the first place. There were also a few interpersonal issues that impacted the team dynamic. Concerns were raised multiple times about a certain individuals whose behavior had affected several colleagues, but unfortunately, leadership chose to avoid the conflict rather than address it. That response made some team members feel undervalued and unheard, which was disappointing in an otherwise great culture.
