Cons
No training on their systems, you must be a self learner or you sink. Forget your own ideas, make sure you are a yes man from day one. The architect only likes those who validate his processes. When you present your design documentation, forget about getting the recognition because the architect will steal the show ALWAYS! The business analysts are lacking ability or system knowledge. Business doesn't understand their own systems and when the project fails because they didn't ask for a feature they needed to complete the job, you get the blame. Oh and there is only one person allowed to code review, you guessed it, the architect! Severe bottle neck that ends up making you look like an idiot especially if you are not a yes man. Meetings don't start when you schedule them, it starts when the architect shows up. Rude!!!
