Okay place to work - Customer Service Specialist Diversified Ophthalmics Employee Review

Worked at Diversified for many years. Decided to leave for another opportunity. Had the chance to return and took it! Glad that I did. Company has a great work environment with a strong focus on development, growth, and achievement. Everyone gets involved in moving the company forward. Very collaborative and cooperative environment.

Interesting part of town and older facility.

Decent benefits. Karen, the Vice president of distribution, is a sweetheart who's always willing to help in any way she can.

Employee Morale is awful. Employees call their coworkers names, arguments are quite frequent, bullying is also frequent, racism/sexism/derogatory comments on religion is a huge problem. You can just feel the tension in the air. Everytime I come into work, I don't know what to expect. I don't know if something rude is going to be said to me or about me behind my back. Everyday, I feel less and less motivated because there is so much hate in the workplace. This is an issue that needs to be solved if management wants to increase Morale and keep most of their hardworking employees.
