Pros
If you joined post-COVID, salaries are competitive. That is why most people join and stay. Your on-the-ground, day-to-day colleagues are great in most cases. You will need them for support.
Cons
In the words of a VP that left the company (not the reviewer), "I could have been whipped harder if I had more stake in the game." One word if you're in middle-management or higher: RUN. This is NOT the place you want to work if you're looking for inspiring leadership that knows how to run a business ethically. Demanding and repetitive calls to directors and VPs from the now-CEO on holidays (Christmas, etc), C-levels and VPs that are encouraged to skip 1:1s with their direct reports, and a C-level that has never worked outside of Docebo and thus has no true experience in how to grow and support high-performing teams. Specifically, the CTO/CPO built the product from the ground up but has no management or leadership skills, making him a pawn in the CEO's political games with no understanding of how to navigate the career growth of the employees under him, most of whom are trying to do their best work while also supporting families. Worst of all, they've had a round of layoffs recently that are not only unethical, but illegal. Several employees that grew the business for OVER A DECADE were let go without any warning after hitting 100% of their targets (and receiving 100% performance-based bonuses for them) and receiving only positive feedback in performance reviews. The best part: Not a single penny in severance packages. If this is how you treat people that got you to where you are today, the world truly deserves to know the way this business is run. Former employees catch up in groups calls and discuss the corporate trauma they faced here, specifically by the CEO, CTO/CPO and CHRO. A majority of employees in the Italian office are actively looking for work, only staying due to the small software job market and lack of similar salary availability in Italy.
